Wow, where does the time go? It’s been almost 2 weeks since my last update and once again Flame Beauty have been busy bees.

I have been absolutely dying to do my last 2 courses as these were the ones I was most intrigued by. Last Monday saw me travel up to Marylebone to attend my Airbase airbrush make up training. I was introduced to this system in March this year at Professional Beauty at the Excel and I have to say I was blown away. Quite a few hundred pounds later, I walked away with kit in hand and training booked with one snag, the training was nearly 3 months away……damn!

Airbase is an airbrush make up system. The key ingredient to the product is that it has silicone in it, means that once it dries, it stays in place and does not melt or fade for up to 16 hours. As it is applied to the face in a fine mist, it doesn’t force it’s way in to our pores so is in addition better for your skin and very lightweight to wear. The results are stunning. You can mix and match colours to suit skin tones and airbrush effects on to the skin. It also acts as a camouflage. This product is a winner for bridal work and as such I will be promoting this to all my upcoming brides.

I decided last Friday to put airbase to the test. I was in London all day and night, at my graduation ceremony in the day, and put drinking cocktails and sampling fine dining in the evening. I didn’t want to take too much make up with me, so decided to airbrush myself in the morning. The results were fantastic, it was applied at 8am and by midnight it had not budged. I had lots of lovely comments about it too!

Yesterday saw me attending my gelish course, so that I can offer gel nails to my clients. As a qualified manicurist, I knew that the wasn’t a lot of science to it, but was intrigued to see the step by step process and sample the results for myself. So far, so good! I applied a full set to myself last night, and the product is meant to last for 21 days without chipping, so I will keep you posted….
